DNA Theatre Is Seeking New Interns For The Spring Semester

Social Media Guru
Daydreams + Nightmares Aerial Theatre is seeking an Internet savvy social media guru to keep our social networking accounts active with new and exciting information about our team.
- Digital camera / video camera friendly (we have our own equipment)
- Update pages for Twitter / Facebook / Vimeo / etc
- Seek out new Social Media outlets
This position requires the intern to be present at auditions, rehearsals, events and shows to photograph activities to be posted on social media sites to generate buzz. The ideal candidate will posses a strong sense of the current Social Media climate and proactively promote DNA Theatre's activities to generate social interest. Candidate should be pursuing a degree in technology, interactive design, graphic design or marketing but other higher-education paths are acceptable upon discussion. Approx: 5 hours per week, very flexible. Available for college credit or work experience.
Theatre Company Administration
Daydreams + Nightmares Aerial Theatre is seeking a highly-organized intern who will assist with the administration of company files, event planning, rehearsal space organization, mailings, website upkeep and general administrative duties.
- Highly organized and pro-active
- Computer / technology friendly & familiar with Google Apps and open source
- Good writing skills & attention to detail
Candidate should be pursuing a degree in business, graphic design or marketing but other higher-education paths are acceptable upon discussion. Approx: 5 hours per week, very flexible. Available for college credit or work experience. Must have own transportation.
Company Re-Branding Designer
Daydreams + Nightmares Aerial Theatre is seeking a creative intern who will assist with the re-branding of our company's public image via logo, website and print media design. This position will liaison with the company co-directors and spearhead the design of a fresh and exciting brand.
- Very creative
- Computer / technology friendly & familiar with Google Apps and open source
- Attention to detail
- Grasps the concept of good branding and current design trends
Candidate should be pursuing a degree in graphic design, interactive design, general fine arts or marketing but other higher-education paths are acceptable upon discussion. Approx: 5 hours per week with times fluctuating lower and higher during launch, very flexible. Available for college credit or work experience.
Video & Sound Editing
Daydreams + Nightmares Aerial Theatre is seeking a technical friendly intern who will work with the Artistic Director in finalizing video editing and sound sync for DVD publication of our shows.
- Highly organized and pro-active
- Has access to the appropriate software they will use to create work
- Attention to detail
- Familiar with QLab a plus
